VCON 37 Has a Hotel!

The Sheraton Vancouver Guildford in Surrey has made a successful proposal to host VCON 37, and we're pleased to be there.

Rates:

  • King or Two Queen: $99.00 (for double, triple or quadruple occupancy: still $99.00 a night.)
  •  Club Room: $139.00 (continental breakfast and access to the club lounge)
  • Penthouse Suite: $279.00 (indoor jacuzzi)
 

These rooms include:

  • Parking is: free.
  • Internet is: free.

There is a hot tub and a heated outdoor pool. The hot tub is ouside, but has rain cover.

We have a lot of space this year, so we'll be able to run lots of interesting programming. Enough space that we can have 1800 people on site at the same time and still have space for more. Just like last year, everything is bigger! More space for everything. Hospitality will also have a lovely space this year as well.

The hotel is on 104 ave and is 10 minutes away from Surrey Central Skytrain. The hotel will be providing shuttles for us to the airport and the skytrain station as well. Also, translink is planning a new B-line route along 104 ave, so you'll have lots of ways to get there. We'll be right across from the Guildford mall and next to the surrey public library.

The hotel is also right next to the Transcanada - if you're driving from out of town, it'll be easy to get here. Michael Walsh has timed the drive from the Richmond storage locker to be about 35 minutes on a Saturday.
