Remember, the rooms in Sheraton are oversized! They have a pool! They have lavish furniture and massive bathrooms! You can be right next to hospitality or isolated in a quiet tower of solitude! You can get these lavish spaces for $117 a night, including two free parking spaces! (Most hotels try to sneak in extra costs and hide $20 a day parking out in Richmond.)
Call the hotel directly at 604-273-7878 and ask for in-house reservations. You are with the VCON group and want the VCON rate. Don't bother with the call centre, just call them direct and ask for In House Reservations.

The hotel is at 7551 Westminster Highway, in Richmond. A map is available online.
Parking is $6/day for VCON attendees, and free for anyone staying in the hotel.
After parking, please go straight to the front desk, provide your licence plate
and let them know you're with VCON to get this rate. If you don't, you'll get
charged the full rate of $17.60/day and nobody wants that!
Dealers: Please note there is a side door that you may wish to use to
make unloading and loading easier.

After which the hotel will release our reservations and may charge full price for whatever rooms are left.
If you want a good deal on these rooms (and you do, because full price is very expensive) book as early as possible. If you want to get one of the executive suites (or junior suites) it is imperative that you book months in advance, in order to guarantee you get one.
In fact, if you're thinking of booking, you should go book now .
Similarly, if you're not able to attend VCON, other attendees would probably appreciate it if you cancel your reservation.
Why you should book at the Sheraton
The rates are heavily discounted compared to local hotels of the same class, allow you to stay as long as you need without needing to drive or figure out bus routes, give you a place to stow your stuff and make the experience more enjoyable.
You'll be able to stay longer, socialize, drink and get the most out of every night. You can throw room parties and invite new (and old) friends back to your suite. You can split the room with friends to keep the cost down, or take all the space for yourself.
Booking at the hotel also helps the convention directly. A lot of rooms booked mean the hotel will be happy to have us back next year and help us get reduced rates. Without you, running this event would become very expensive!

- Food choices are abundant in the area. There are two malls within easy walking distance, a liquor store, a pharmacy, and Imperial Hobbies gaming shop is just around the corner.

- Smoking:
- The Sheraton is a smoke-free environment. There are designated areas outside for smokers, but there are no smoking rooms in the hotel. If you require a guest room in which you are allowed to smoke, please contact us using the "VCON General Questions" category on our contact form to discuss possible solutions.
Room Parties
If you have plans to invite guests to your room, please request a room near hospitality when you make your reservation.
If you don't want to take the chance of sleeping next to that guy's party, please let the hotel know you'd like a room on a "quiet floor."
